Avery Shafron
Avery Shafron is a student at Duke University, studying English and following the pre-medical track. She has lived in Scottsdale, Arizona for all of her life. She graduates from university in the class of 2028, and she hopes to attend medical school in the following years.
Avery has been writing stories since childhood. She is never far from a pen or a laptop. Her writing has won second place in the Arizona ADL annual essay competition, and has been published online and in her high school’s literary magazine. Her interests span all literary fields, but find the sharpest peaks in Modernist poetry, Victorian novels, and all works of science fiction.
